ALBANY, GA (WALB) – The state on Tuesday released a list of flood-damaged roads that will be repaired using federal money. We told you last week Georgia is getting $15 million in emergency relief from the Transportation Department.
Two million will pay to repair 26 roads and bridges in our area damaged last Spring, including Antioch Road and Judge Lott Road in Cook County.
Other roads on the list are in Brooks, Coffee, Crisp, Early, Grady, Lowndes, and Tift Counties. The complete list is below.
The other $13 million will pay to repair roads in metro Atlanta damaged during record floods last fall.
