Autopsy of GSW student released

Americus- We now know the cause of death of a Georgia Southwestern student who died on a basketball court.

The coroner says 21-year-old Nyles Alford had inflammed heart muscles. Alford was playing a pick-up basketball gameat Georgia Southwestern in February when he collapsed and died.

An autopsy showed he had idiopathic myocarditis, inflammation of heart muscles. But the coroner said there's no way to determine why the heart muscles were inflammed.
