TIFTON - A robber is apparently targeting Tifton hotels. Police need your help in tracking down the suspect. Two have been robbed in the last week. The robber went in to the Econo Lodge on I-75 and pretended he was checking in. He then pulled a gun and demanded money. The clerk scared him off.

"We'd like to have someone help us figure out who is doing these robberies before someone really gets hurt," Detective John Falotico said.

The Budget Inn also on I-75 was robbed last Thursday by a man fitting the same description. The robber got money in that holdup.
