Albany --With big plans for her future, Selena Blakely was named the 32nd GOAL winner from Albany Technical College.

Blakely was named the winner from 32 nominees for the Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership for Albany Tech. A junior in the radiologic technology program, Blakely now will represent Albany Tech in the state competition with all other technical college's winners.

Blakely said "Knowing that I am looked at as a leader, that someone did see those qualities in me, I feel blessed. I am glad I could personify that, and just feel honored to be nominated."

The State GOAL winner will be awarded a new car, and will represent Georgia Technical schools in meeting with business and industry leaders, and prospective students.
