ALBANY - There's a new movie playing at Carmike Cinemas but it wasn't produced in Hollywood. It stars local actors and was filmed entirely in Albany.

Sherwood Baptist Church produced "Flywheel ," which surrounds a used-car salesman and his crooked ways. According to the films web site, "His wife doesn't trust him, his son doesn't respect him and his employees are following in his footsteps."

Alex Kendrick, Director of and an actor in the movie, says that community response has been great even in its premier. "This has been a long-time-coming," he said.  "We had a one o'clock show, had a great turn-out. (It's) just exciting to see people come out that were moved by the story."

Show times vary but may be obtained by calling Carmike Cinemas. It should be at the theatre for one to two weeks. TIckets can be pruchased from the movie's web site.
