LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) – A man died after a roll over crash in north lee county Thursday afternoon.

21-year old Marcus Bateman was ejected when his car flipped several times on Gray Moss Road a little after five o'clock.

The car landed on top of Bateman, passers-by helped lift the car off of him.

Paramedics rushed him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

"From what we can tell the subject lost control, and consequently flipped about three or four times." Sheriff Reggie Rachals, Lee County Sheriff's Office.

Officers don't believe Bateman was wearing a seatbelt.
