Albany- In June 1992, Connie Wilson was murdered at a house on MacArthur Street. The 46-year- old Wilson was beaten, stomped, stabbed, and his throat cut.
Now, his girlfriend and another man are charged in his death. Police say Davis Lee George killed Wilson in a love triangle.
"Finding witnesses who were not able to be located in 1992," said Ken Hodges, Dougherty D.A. "He was arrested earlier this summer last year for this. We still needed to find some additional witnesses, which were located, and we're able to proceed at this time."
The girlfriend, Ruthie Bell Lewis, is charged aggravated assault. Their trials are expected to be held in July or September.
