Albany Police stayed busy this morning with two shootings. The first one sent a man to the hospital. And several men are in custody for the second shooting.
Around two a.m., police found 56-year-old John Johnson lying in the yard of 816 Cedar Avenue.
Police say he was shot in the hip. He's at Phoebe Hospital this afternoon and police have no suspects.
Then about an hour later, Police say a fight broke out at Club River on Roosevelt Avenue where shots were fired.
The owner of the club tells us there was no fight inside her club. And she is questioning whether anything happened outside her club since possible suspects were arrested elsewhere.
Shortly after Police received the call, police pulled over a white SUV at the AutoZone on South Slappey.
After searching the vehicle and questioning the men inside at least 5 men were taken into custody and are still being questioned about details of what and exactly where it happened.
No charges have been filed. No one was reported injured.
