ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A former Albany pet groomer has been arrested again, this time he's charged with violating his probation by working with animals.
Steve Morgan is out of jail on bond. He was convicted of animal cruelty charges in 2006 after several animals were found dead on his Terrell County property. A condition of his probation was that he not work with animals.
But Lee County Code Officers say they discovered he was overseeing dog kennels there and that led them to alert his probation officer. He was arrested March fourth and posted bond the same day. His lawyer says he did not violate his probation.
