Terrell Co. Extension Agents charged with theft

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Terrell County's Extension coordinator resigned and the office's secretary was fired.

They're accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the state. University of Georgia Police say the two each took $2,323.28 and $2,373.28 from the state between last May and January. Warrants were issued for Extension coordinator Charles Lamb charging him with 9 counts of party to a crime of theft and two counts of theft by taking.

Robin Jordan is charged with 10 counts of theft by taking and one count of party to a crime theft. Both turned themselves in on Friday and are out of jail on bond.
