Albany shooting victim improving

ALBANY, GA (WALB) –An Albany man remains hospitalized with a gunshot wound suffered during a robbery, but is improving. Police have made no arrests.

23-year old David Morell was shot in the abdomen just before 5:30 Thursday afternoon. Police say the shooting happened in a parking lot at Nottingham North Apartments, as gunmen robbed Morell and another person with him.

The robbers who shot Morell took his cell phone, cigarettes and cash.

The robbers haven't been caught.
