Albany-- An Albany store is robbed--and it's caught on tape. A black male, in his mid 20's, walked into an Amoco store in East Albany just before four Monday morning. He demanded money, then walked behind the counter and grabbed the cash.

He then took off. Police say showing this tape will help catch him. Sgt. Keithen Hall says, "Oh, yes, oh yes, from past experience, once we put it out like that, the telephones start ringing off the hook."

The store is at the corner of Oglethorpe and Radium Springs road. No weapon was visible, but the store clerk on duty told police she thought he might have had one hidden. The man was wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans. If you have any information, please contact the Albany Police Department.
