HARRIS COUNTY, GA (WALB) - Four Georgia teenagers were involved in an accident Saturday morning while changing a flat tire on the side of the interstate.

Steven Hudson's friends say they still can't believe he won't be returning to class Monday. He was a Freshman at Albany State University.

Derrick Isabell is still in a bit of a fog after a car stuck and killed Hudson, 19 and  Janques Dorvelus,19. They were changing a flat tire on Interstate 185 around 3:00 a.m. Isabell and Hudson met at freshman orientation and both lived in Wiley Hall.

"He was a really good guy and he was a really good friend," Isabell said. "We lost a good one."

State troopers say Hudson and Dorvelus from Douglasville died when the driver struck them on the side of the road. State troopers say the car was centered on the fog line on the side of a road still in the line of traffic. No charges are pending for the driver.

Friends posted messages on Hudson's Facebook Wall. There were hundreds. Some said, "You're too good for this earth," "Rest in peace," and "I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy."

" I don't know what I'd do right now if I saw my friends die," said Lauren Strozier who went to high school with Hudson. "It's crazy."

Preliminary results show the young men were in a poorly lit area and did not have their hazard lights on.  Chris Brown was injured in the collision. He's in critical condition at Atlanta Medical Center. Justin Walker-the driver-was the only one to survive without injuries.  He says he was rolling the flat tire away while the other three guys worked on the drivers side of the Honda Accord.

ASU will hold a Candlelight vigil for Hudson sometime this week.
