ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Friday was just too nice of a day to stay cooped up inside. Students at one Dougherty County school got to spend most of it outside.

Students at Lamar Reese Magnet School of the Arts celebrated Music on the Lawn Friday. The Theme for this year's event is "Just Imagine". The break from the classroom is used as a chance to give students some breathing room before CRCTs which take place in just a few weeks.

George Darrisaw said, "Today we're having a music in our schools month celebration, which is every year in March."

The students will get another break from the classroom next week, as they enjoy Spring Break.
