Lowndes deputies make burglary, entering auto arrests

VALDOSTA, GA -  The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office has made several arrests during multiple investigations of burglaries and thefts by entering auto. 

The following suspects have been charged: 

  • Justin Stafford, Burglary and Theft by Receiving Stolen Property
  • Christopher Ryan Sabin, Two counts Burglary
  • Morgan Tyson, Four counts Theft by Entering Auto
  • Dylan Willis, Burglary and Three counts Theft by Entering Auto
  • Justin Gay, Burglary and Possession of Tools for the Commission of Crime
  • Sean Michael Myers, Two counts Burglary
  • Andrew DeNuzzia, Three counts Burglary
  • Gregory Todd Wetherington, Burglary, Felony Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
  • Thomas Wayne Clifton, Burglary
  • Zachary Austin Honeycutt, Felony Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Felony Possession of Tools for the Commission of a Crime
  • One juvenile charged with two counts Theft by Entering Auto

These investigations are ongoing and more arrests are expected.  Not all of the recent burglaries or thefts have been solved and there is an enormous amount of stolen property that has not been recovered. 

Anyone with information concerning these thefts are requested to contact the Sheriff's Office at 229-671-2950.    

Residents are also requested to lock their vehicles and their homes and set alarms if available.  Vigilance,  awareness of surroundings and neighborhood watches are deterrents to this high volume of thefts.
