By David Miller ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Albany Police Department spokeswoman Phyllis Banks-Whitley says that a man wanted in a shooting incident ten days ago is in custody.
Michael Eady was taken into custody by APD officers this morning about 11:00, on Thompkins Avenue.
On March 15th, a woman living on East Road said Eady showed up at her door, came in her apartment, and refused to leave even after she asked him to.
The woman called her uncle, 37-year-old Michael Angelo Jones, and asked him to come over and help her get the man out of her apartment.
When Jones showed up to help his niece, police say the suspect, Michael Eady, pulled out a gun and shot Jones once in the stomach, before running out the door.
