ALBANY, GA (WALB) –   Dougherty County Sheriff's investigators raided a South Albany house and arrested two people for drugs and gun possession.

31 year old Talemicus Nix and 26 year old Sharetrise Harper are charged with possession of cocaine, ecstasy and possession of a gun by a felon.

Investigators found small bags of the coke and ecstasy in small bags, five hundred dollars in cash wrapped around the drugs, and a loaded .380 pistol.

"We received information there were actually several more firearms on the location. But we only located one firearm. But one firearm off the street that shouldn't be out there is a good thing anytime," said Dougherty County Sheriff's Capt. Craig Dodd.

Investigators suspect the other guns may have already been sold or distributed. They found the drugs and cash in a purse on a table in the living room, by the front door.
