ALBANY, GA (WALB) -Health care has been in headlines daily for months now. The cost of health care and whether you have insurance doesn't matter much if you don't have quality providers to take care of you.

Darton's nearly 26,000 square ft.facility holds two big lecture halls, classrooms and simulation labs equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Nearly 170 students graduated from Darton's nursing program last year. Many of them are now working in Dougherty County. Leaders hope the new facility will attract more students. Nursing students should start taking classes in the new building this summer.
