THOMAS COUNTY, GA (WALB) – A case involving a missing woman from Florida is now considered a homicide.

Authorities are still searching for the body of Danielle Brown.

Brown was last seen leaving her Tallahassee home in early February. Her burned car was found at a Pavo dumpsite.

A person of interest in the case, Danielle's ex-boyfriend Elijah James, was charged with arson of the vehicle.

Friday, a judge denied James bond in the arson case and he remains in custody in Thomas County. James' court-appointed lawyer says it's rare for an arson case to be denied bond and said James may petition the Superior Court for bond.
