ALBANY - Saturday night is the night you set all your clocks ahead one hour.

Brooks Furniture was getting a head start on changing the time on their dozens of grandfather clocks Saturday. The employee who has to adjust the clocks twice a year says its not a job she looks forward to, but at least when we spring forward, the sun will stay up a little later in the day.

"It has to be done and they select me to do it," Hicks said.

The Fire Department also recommends you check the battery in your smoke detector when you change your clock. Daylight savings time officialy begins at 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
