Two-way tie at BellSouth's halfway point

April 4, 2003

(Duluth-AP) -- Bob Tway and Lee Janzen are tied for the lead after two rounds of the BellSouth Classic.

Tway shot a 66 and Janzen had a 67 today to finish at 8-under-par 136 on the TPC at Sugarloaf course in suburban Atlanta.

Defending champion Retief Goosen was two shots back, with four more players tied another shot behind in the final tuneup for the Masters.

Among the four at 139 is Billy Andrade of Atlanta.

Tway hasn't won in more than eight years, and Janzen's last victory came in the 1998 U.S. Open.

In his past three tournaments, Tway hasn't finished worse than 17th, with a tie for fourth at the Chrysler Classic and a third at the Ford Championship.
