ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  A Colquitt County billboard encourages south Georgians to consider voting liberals out of Congress this fall.

The Tea Party Freedom Line from Thomas County, Cairo, and Moultrie met in an afternoon rally across from Spence Field Monday. 30 sponsors paid for the billboard that will remain up thought the November elections. Organizers say they're putting their complaints about health care and the economy into action and hope to inspire others.

"I don't care what we do out here in a rally and how many signs we hold up and how much we talk at the coffee shop what's really important and what really makes a difference is to know your candidate and to get out an vote and that's what we're hoping will be the end result of this thing," said Marvin Bishop, event organizer.

Their vehicles carry signs that read, You can't fix Stupid, but you can vote it out. They're making yard signs available for residents fed up with the status quo. For more information on how to secure a yard sign you can call Marvin Bishop at (229) 589-1111.
