ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  An Albany man crashed into a utility pole and four other vehicles in northwest Albany.

Just after nine am, 32-year-old Christopher McIntyre's pickup truck ran into the ditch on Westover Road, then hit a curb, became airborne and clipped a utility pole in half.

The truck then careened into the SB&T parking lot and hit the cars of four bank employees.

The traffic lights and electrical lines from that pole crashed to the street.

The intersection of Westover Road and Old Dawson Road was blocked off and was closed to traffic most of the day.

McIntyre is in good condition at an Albany hospital.
