By Wainwright Jeffers - bio | email ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Spring forward, fall back. It's that time of year again when most of the country will set their clocks forward one hour.
Daylight saving time arrives tonight and most of us will lose an hour of sleep.
Unlike the fall, this time you'll have to turn the clocks ahead one hour.
The change officially happens at 2am Sunday morning, it will allow less energy to be used by taking advantage of the longer and later daylight hours
Not all US States and territories observe Daylight Saving Time, Arizona , Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands do not.
Standard time returns on November seventh.
