MACON, GA (WALB) - The Westover Patriots bid for a seventh AAA state title was ended by Columbia who beats the Patriots 65-58 in the semifinals Friday.
Westover led by 5 in the first quarter but Columbia ended the first half with a 21-9 run to take a seven point lead at half.
Columbia led by Jershon Cobb's 28 points pushed the lead to 14 in the third quarter.
A 12-2 Westover run cut the lead to four before Columbia answered back.
Malcolm Sapp led Westover (24-5) with 18 points.
