VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –South Georgia has a couple festivals going on this weekend.

The 5th Annual Plow Day is Saturday in Ray City and the Azaela Festival goes on Saturday and Sunday in Valdosta.

In Ray City off Highway 64 they'll have mules, horses, and maybe some plowing in the fields. Food vendors, blue grass, pony and train rides, and a parade that starts at 11 a.m. are some other highlights.

"Alot of people have never seen these antique tractors plowing in the fields," said Greg Harrell, Plow Day Organizer. "They've never seen mules and horses plow in the fields. They get to come out and see farming like it was a hundred years ago."

Despite the afternoon rain in Valdosta Friday, vendors were setting up tents gearing up for the Azalea Festival that's in Drexal Park Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
