ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Moultrie Police are turning to the ATF to help them identify the owners of numerous weapons seized this week from a large fencing operation.

Police say several people have called about the weapons and hunting equipment seized when investigators arrested 36 year old Paul Partin. Police won't release those weapons until the ATF traces serial numbers back to the rightful owners.

Investigators originally just charged Partin with possession of methamphetamine, but expect to also charge him with attempting or removing a serial number from a golf cart and theft by receiving.

Investigators expect to make more arrests in the case that remains under investigation.
