Albany- Tesa Springer has created the National Debt Fund, a program that allows ordinary people and businesses to help pay off the national debt.

Donors get tax exemptions and proceeds go to the government in four years. The September 11th terrorist attacks inspired her project.

"A great thing is for people to give blood in this time of crisis and another good way to help the soldiers and our country is to help pay on the national debt," says Springer.

You can find out more about the project and how to make a donation by going to www.nationaldebtfund.com or by mail at P.O. Box 71966, Albany, Georgia, 31708-1966.
