SOUTHAVEN, MS (WALB) -   The rematch goes to the Blazers again.  Valdosta State has no problem beating Arkansas Monticello in the quarterfinals of the Gulf South Conference tournament for a second straight year.

The Blazers win this time 74-61.

GSC east division player of the year Tyrone Curnell had 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Valdosta State plays Arkansas Tech in the semifinals Saturday night.
