Methamphetamine labs still on the rise in South Georgia

meigs - just after midnight, meigs police raided a house on southwest railroad street.

They found hundreds of methamphetamine pills and a meth lab in a shed behind a house.

Alan Burgess, Brandy Dixon and Paul Vick are charged with possession with intent to distribute the meth pills. Burgess and Vick are also charged with manufacturing methamphetimines.

 Inside the shed, police found propane tanks, camp fuel, coffee filters and rock salt.

When we got to the last room, we found everything that he needed for his meth lab," said Robert Jordan, an investigator with the Meigs Police Department.

Burgess is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
