ALBANY, GA (WALB) – An Albany man will spend the next 20 years in prison for molesting a child.

26-year-old Robert McCullough pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of child molestation.

He was arrested last March after the mother of an 8-year-old girl caught him walking out of her child's bedroom naked.

"When dealing with child molesters and child predators, they often don't get the message. The only thing that we can do is be extremely strict with them and let them know that the harshest of punishments will be dealt out," said Chris Cohilas, Dougherty Asst. District Attorney.

McCullough received a 40-year sentence of which 20 must be served in prison.
