ALBANY, GA (WALB) - It was the tight game everyone expected and the homestanding Albany Tech Titans hold on to beat South Georgia Tech 60-58 in the first round of the GJCAA Region XVII men's basketball tournament.

Dominique Polite led the Titans with 18 points.

Albany Tech now advances to play #1 seed Middle Georgia in the semifinals Friday in Cochran.
