ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  In only three seasons, the Albany Tech Titans have already had many firsts.

The Titans will reach another milestone Tuesday night.

Albany Tech will host South Georgia Tech in the first round of the state junior college tournament.

Head coach Sylvester Patterson says his team is looking forward to getting to play at home and are counting on students and fans to show up for a big game against one of their biggest rivals in South Georgia Tech.

Home court may be the difference since these two teams split their regular season series.

The Jets won in Americus and the Titans won at the HPER Gym.

Sylvester Patterson said. "To go back to this format because they wanted the higher seeds to have the advantage. For us to be at home and have that advantage and have the crowd come out and support us. It is going to be real big for the program."

Game time is 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Albany State's HPER Gym for Albany Tech and South Georgia Tech.

Winner plays top seed Middle Georgia Friday in Cochran.

The Warriors are hosting the semifinals and finals.
