ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Deerfield-Windsor's Gordy Gruhl is the GISA AAA boys basketball coach of the year.

Gruhl earned the honors after leading the Knights to a 28-1 record and state title.

Guards Michael Matthews and Banks Kinslow and forward Reggie Brown were all named to the GISA AAA all-state team.

Matthews, Kinslow and Shaun Jones have also been selected to play for the GISA Georgia all star team in a game against a South Carolina squad this Saturday in Augusta.
