ALBANY, GA (WALB) –A nine year old Dougherty County boy is charged with breaking into a neighbor's house and stealing toys and tools.

The elementary school student was arrested by Dougherty County Police Sunday, and charged with breaking into a

home on Moultrie Road Monday. The burglars stole electronics, lawn tools, skateboards, remote control cars, toys, and an aquarium. A tip led police to the stashed stolen loot, and the boy.

Dougherty County Police Captain Jimmy Sexton said "One of our patrol officers was called to the location where the property had been recovered. And she backtracked from there and was able to locate the child."

The nine year old was released to his parents.

Police are looking for another nine year old who was an accomplice.

In a separate case, Dougherty County Police arrested 18 year old Michael Nixon for breaking into a neighbor's home on Council Road. Thursday afternoon, Virginia Branham surprised Nixon burglarizing her house, and watched him carry off her TV and four guns. Police arrested Nixon Saturday.
