LOWNDES COUNTY, GA (WALB) –Lowndes County investigators are searching for a gunman who robbed a store in Clyattville.

The clerk, 32-year old Jessica Rutledge, was in the back of the Busy Bee convenience store restocking items and getting ready to close up around 10 Friday night.

A man walked in, pointed a pistol at her, and told her to put money in a duffle bag.

He then told her to tie herself up with a rope and count to thirty before getting up from the floor.

"He took her cell phone as well as destroyed the phone that was in the store itself," said Sheriff Chris Prine.

The robber is black. He wore a grey sweatshirt, long baggy blue jean shorts, and black shoes.

His face was partially covered.
