Albany honors child abuse victims

Albany- 246 pinwheels line the lawn in front of the Albany Mall, each represents an abuse Dougherty County child.

Miss Albany, Kelly Bradshaw, political leaders and members of Girl Scout Troops and Girls, Inc. placed the pinwheels in the ground Saturday morning. Bradshaw hopes the pinwheels will help the community become more aware that child abuse must be prevented.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.
