ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The U.S. Census Bureau said it would fill 200 jobs last week and it did.

Donald Gray with the local chapter says the bureau is looking to hire anywhere between 1,200 and 1,500 people in southwest Georgia.

Some positions include field employees, and supervisor positions, clerks, and positions in the census office

Census officials will review strategies next week to discuss improving recruitment plans.
