BERRIEN COUNTY, GA (WALB) –A south Georgia high school is hosting a concert to raise money for Haiti this weekend.

Berrien County High dancers, singers, and actors will perform Saturday.

Student Brittney Pearson saw the devastation caused by the earthquake on the news and wanted to do something to help out.

"Down in Miami I had some friends that were Haitian and my mom had a daycare and most of the children that went to her daycare were Haitian so me and mom just came up with this idea."

Monetary donations will be collected at the event which starts at 7 p.m. at the Berrien High School gym.
