ALBANY, GA (WALB) – An Albany city commissioner gave his constituents a chance to bring their questions and concerns right to city leaders Thursday night.

Ward 4 Commissioner Roger Marietta invited city department heads to talk to citizens about city services.

They discussed the importance of the Crime Stoppers Hotline and the 3-1-1 hotline.

Marietta also asked those in attendance to encourage their neighbors to fill out their census forms.

"They're going to go back and take it back to their communities and spread that information out. Howard Brown, from the city is the census coordinator and we got to get the under-count up this year, or we're going to loose out on $100 million the next 10 years," said Roger Marietta, Albany City Commission.

Marietta also encouraged folks to continue to voice their concerns and opinions to city leaders so problems can be solved.
