Lee County-- You can send a greeting to the troops while you shop. The Wal-Mart in Lee County has set up a kiosk that gives shoppers a chance to send an e-mail message to our military personnel overseas. The employees got trained this morning.
Training Supervisor Kelly Word says, "We had a big meeting and great response, several associates come up and do it very proud of our troops."
It's pretty simple--you just type in your name and choose from 17 pre-written messages offering encouragement to the troops. The kiosk is set up in the jewelry department.
