CORDELE, GA (WALB) – Testimony will continue Thursday in a Crisp County murder trial.

36-year-old Virgil Christopher is charged with killing 22-year-old Eli Jones in a shootout last February near the Sunset Homes Housing Complex.

Christopher was also wounded in the gun fight. Police say he's a known drug dealer.

The trial is expected to wrap up this week.
