LEESBURG, GA (WALB) – Lee County commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday night to allow EMS workers to continue to take a dinner break.

That practice sparked some debate last month.

Commissioner Dennis Roland said EMS workers should stay at their station during their entire shift and should not be allowed to leave for an hour break.

Commissioners reviewed the policy and decided to keep it the same.

EMS officials told us they're glad no changes were made.
