Albany- Albany State University salutes the top researcher and teacher for 2003.

Dr. Rani George is the researcher of the year. George is an assistant professor in the college of education and has published several articles in important journals.

Assistant Business professor Dr. Kathaleena Monds was named teacher of the year. She earned the Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing Scholarship. . She earned the Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing Scholarship.

Doctors George and Monds received plaques and five hundred dollar awards.
