LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -  Several people were rushed to the hospital after a multiple car accident in Lee County.

State Troopers say a black Honda Pilot was traveling South on Philema road when the driver tried to turn left onto Sportsmanclub Drive. It struck a Kia driving North which caused the Pilot to over turn.

The Kia then struck a Chevrolet truck sitting at a stop sign at the intersection of both roads. Deputies say this is the second wreck at this intersection in the past couple months.

It's a busy road at night and troopers say it's important to pay extra attention. The driver of the truck was okay.

EMS crews rushed the woman and daughter inside the Pilot to the hospital. No word on their conditions or if any charges have been filed.
