ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Albany Police say they have located missing 3-year-old Tamira Collins who went missing Friday along with her grandmother, 51-year-old Marie Harper Wright.

Police spotted a car around 10 p.m. Saturday matching the description of one driven by Wright on Highland Avenue.

Police have not released details at this time, but are investigating.

It's been a whirlwind for the family of Tamira Collins and her grandmother. Police say they went missing around 3:00 Friday afternoon after Collins' Grandma picked her up from Tift Avenue Head Start.

"We don't suspect foul play and we're just trying to help the family find both individuals said Albany Police Department Spokesperson Phyllis Banks.

Collins' mother Lashanna Lawson became concerned when her grandma Marie Harper Wright didn't bring her baby home. She called police around 11:30 Friday night.

Lawson's godmother along with friends and police searched for the two all day.

Police confirmed someone found three-year-old Tamira Collins on Highland Drive. We'll have more late breaking details Sunday on WALB News 10.
