THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) – The search continued at a Thomas County landfill Friday for evidence in the disappearance of a Florida woman.

Danielle Brown has been missing since February 5th.

Investigators found pieces of Brown's drivers license and her cell phone near a south Thomas County dumpster last weekend. That led investigators to search the landfill where trash from those dumpsters may have been hauled to find more clues.

"Any items and all items that have been or will be found in the search of the landfill are being sent to the Leon County Sheriff's office and then forwarded to the FDLE crime lab for analysis and identification to determine if anything is of interest to us," explained a spokesperson from the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators would not say if they found any important items today. They will continue to search the landfill until dark Friday and may search it one more time Saturday.

Anyone who has seen Danielle Brown between February 5th and 8th is urged to call the Leon County Sheriff's office at 850-922-3300.
