ALBANY, GA (WALB) -   The Albany State softball got to take the field but the Lady Rams lose a pitching duel in game one of a doubleheader with Columbus State 1-0.

Lady Cougars Kristi Bullard held the Lady Rams to two hits and struck out 10 in six innings of work.

Lady Rams starter Sasha Reece gave up an unearned run on a fielding error in the fourth.

Columbus State won game two 11-3.

Albany State is 2-2 and hosts Brewton-Parker on Friday.
