ALBANY, GA (WALB) –An inmate at the Albany Transitional Center is considered an escapee after he failed to return from work Saturday night.

Corrections Department officials say 43 year old Moses Maddox left the Transition Center for work at Loco's

Saturday morning at 9:30, and did not return after he got off work.

Maddox was due to be considered for parole in three months. He was in prison for a first degree forgery conviction in December 2008.

If you have any information about Maddox, call the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office, or the Albany Transitional Center at 430-3888.
