VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The wintry weather in south Georgia did not stop rivals Lowndes and Valdosta from meeting at Valdosta High Friday.
In both games the underdog won.
The Lowndes boys knocked off Valdosta 80-73.
The Valdosta girls beat the Lowndes Vikettesd 67-65.
Also in region 1-AAAAA, Coffee High beat Colquitt County 58-42 in Douglas.
Lady Packers pull out a 46-44 win in the girls game.
In the GCAA state semifinals, Peoples Baptist defeats the Byne Lady Saints 42-20.
